Last night, 小黄鸭app Training hosted their annual Apprenticeship Awards. The evening was all about celebrating the successes and achievements of exceptional learners and employers who have shown outstanding commitment, passion and drive to develop their skills and make a real difference to their organisation.
小黄鸭app was delighted to be joined by rugby legend and 小黄鸭app Skills Ambassador, Jonathan Davies, who presented the winners with their awards following a welcome speech by 小黄鸭app鈥檚 Managing Director Richard Spear and a congratulations video with messages for the winners.
All the winners have gone above and beyond in their qualification and it was fantastic to have the opportunity to recognise their hard work.

Special Recognition
Hayley Weston
Our special recognition award went to a very special individual: Hayley Weston
Hayley has shown perseverance and determination beyond all expectation in completing her qualification.
Leanne Bickham, Children and Young Person Assessor, who put Hayley forward for the award, said: 鈥淲hen I first met Hayley, she was terrified of what she鈥檇 signed up for, but was determined to complete the programme to continue doing what she loved: fostering. She worked so hard, never giving up, even when she felt she couldn鈥檛 continue. Alongside her Apprenticeship, Hayley was caring for some challenging children and even supported one through having a baby during her GCSE鈥檚 (who achieved A鈥檚 and A*鈥檚!) Her confidence has grown massively and she now has the knowledge to back up her practice as a foster carer. She is a true inspiration. Congratulations Hayley!鈥
We would like to thank everyone involved in last night鈥檚 awards, especially to the judging panel who had the hard job of shortlisting and selecting the winners out of a huge pile of nominations. We would also like to thank Cardiff and Vale College for hosting us and to The Classroom team for catering the event.
A final congratulations to everyone, a huge well done to the winners and thank you to all who attended last night! Watch this space for 2019!
